Garden Plants

Hi All,
First time poster here. Here are some of my first macro photos from my Uncles garden. I actually wanted photos of the birds in the wooded area behind his house, but unfortunately they all shut up and hid when the camera came out so I had to content myself with the garden plants. Comments and tips for the next go round are welcome. Also if you can identify what I took pictures of I'd appreciate it. The only things I recognize are the bamboo and the rose.

These were taken with my Nikon D300 with a manual 100-300mm macro-telephoto lens.

Nice Shots! #1 & 2 are out of focus but the rest are great! As far as IDing these I'll try my best.
#3 I have these in my yard and I got the name of them once but now I can remeber. Could it be Cedar?
#4 an Iris?
#6 Impatiens
#10 Blue Spruce
