    I was walking around the hood a bit and came across this gate. It was nice to see see something with character among all the apartment buildings.

    I believe what LaFoto was trying to say (sorry if I'm wrong) but this isn't a picture to critique really. It is a nice find, but you have to do something with it.

    All you did was take a snapshot to remember how it looks, now use this picture to plan out something other than a walk-bye-shooting.

    Maybe grab a friend, and take a portrait with them laying against the door or something.

    Thanks for the replies. The thing about shooting people is, they usually don't allow me to post their pics.
    I don't understand what's wrong with taking a picture of something that caught my eye - BTW, I spent time and took several pics.

    LOL...
    I'll admit, I'm willing to post pics of strangers that I took w/o them noticing, but putting up someone's pic when I know they wouldn't agree is not me. Trust is earned and must be kept.
