Color seems off.

I'd convert to black & white. Bring the shadows down enough to silhouette the birds and tree. Maybe bring up the highlights to add some pop, not to far as to blow the highlights. Nice image.

Much better in my opinion. I might try to bump the highlights just shy of blowing out the sky. This is a more dynamic photo in monochrome. Just my inexperienced opinion.

Well, I see what you mean. In a way the black & white makes the shapes of the tree and birds stand out a bit more.

On the other hand I also like those faint orange and blue colors on the clouds in the first version. It gives the image a special touch, too.

I'm not sure which one I like the most, actually
