Nice review of a great tripod. I use mine with my Sigma 300-800mm lens and it preforms flawlessly in all weather conditions. Expensive but there is no real other option in the size and strength range. It il very light at 6 Lbs when you really look at the size of this tripod. I highly recommend for maximum stability when shooing with anything 600mm and above. The Wimberley head is a great addition providing an unbeatable combination.

I too use this tripod with a Wimberley II head. Fantastic combo!
