BTW if you ever decide to wade into a glacier fed lake, be prepared for the cold and silty sand.
beautiful shots!!!!! where have you been dude?
Hey, Gero! Long time, fella!
Spectacular view! Looks like an amazing place.
awesome shots great series! Where were these taken?
Thanks for the compliments guys.
Ray, This is taken inside Portage Valley, 5 glaciers within a 5 mile drive.
Matt and Terri, I have been traveling a lot for work. Usually to out of reach areas.
Holly ****. So good. So crisp.
I think they're amazing and I had more words. They've left me a little speachless.
Have three months past?
Geronimo is back!
And he said he'd only "come past" four times a year...
These are cool!
The oversharpened (look like it, anyway) black and white ones are fascinating. They take up some sort of copper-engraving-character even. Very nice. That is a kind of treatment I like - and it wouldn't work this well if the photo as such weren't good in the first place.
good to see ya around again, Gero. Fantastic shots, definately worth the cold feet for them. Its great to see shots of the unspoiled Alaskan wilderness, thanks for sharing them
Now that 1st one is a Killer Photo ...........
Looks like a fun camping trip to me.
