For the first time in a long time it was a flawless blue sky this morning. Unfortunately, it did not last much past 1pm but I made the best of it.
Canoncan and I hiked a new Conservation area that showed lots of promise and we found a new Barred Owl to shoot.
A Downy seen right at sunrise.
On the way to the airport I caught this Hawk up in a tree. I had to take it through the front windshield as it would have flown away as soon as I tried to open a window or door, which it did.
This was the first outing with the new lens where it did not snow or rain on it. Also my first time using it for aviation work.
As you can tell my glorious sunshine was gone by the time I hit the airport but I'm still happy about the day.
Cheers,
Eric
