    My friend went fishing the other day at a lake bout an hour from where i live - Bronkhorstspruit. I went along with the cam!

    Somehow I must have overlooked this thread completely for I am only now seeing it - and for the first time.

    As to 2 or 3 I think 2 shows the setting free part more - we see the fish face better. The movement (frozen as it is in this photo) also looks friendly and soft.

    But I also like your choice of focus in the first, mind.

    What happened to your friend's wrist a while ago?

    thanks LA. He had a wrist operation- he broke it in a rugby match! I thought to PS it out, but i feel it gives character?

    I like 2 better also, for the same reasons.
