I took this picture at an ice cream social sponsored by the historical society where I live. It was the perfect picture! I get home check the camera...(going straight to this photo mind you) thinking I was something special and bam.... it's fuzzy. Craptacular!
 
i am interested to know the settings that you took that picture with?
 
If it's motion blur, there is a degree of acceptable motion blur when things are going on, this looks sharp to me, but then again, tis' a resized version.

It's probably ok.
 
A little CS3 motion or lens blur sharpening would help some. ;)

I wouldn't call it bad photography. I like it. Maybe stop down one to get more of the girl's head in focus.

Poor girl! It looks like she's going to do a lot of eyebrow plucking later on.
 
the eyes seem sharp, at 1/250s i dont believe there would be any motion blur.
 
I can tell its a little soft, but besides the leg behind her head I like it.
