This is a great forum and I am excited to utilize the experience and techniques everyone here is willing to share.

I have always been a natural light photographer, and I am finally moving indoors to start making some wonderful art with artificial light.

As far as holding a camera in my hand, I have extreme experience there. I have taken over 10,000 photos in the foreign countries I've visited. It would've been nice to have a lighting crew following me, but the only space I could afford was in my pocket. Some of my photos are beautiful, and all of them were taken spontaneously, when people of other nations donated a second for me to capture their image.

Photography is one of my top 3 artistic endeavors, and I want to take to the next level so my work can be called art. So I know when I'm done, I have put more into a photo than pointing a camera at something and pushing a button.

I am thankful for this forum being open to anyone and I am excited about learning and experimenting.
