This is a follow up to this thread http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=142743

    Anyways....
So I am officially a freelance photographer for the Student Life organization at my university.

We discussed rates and settled on $30-35 per picture. It seems low but I am still a beginner and I need all the exposure/practice I can get.

Also, I am able to display any of my art on public computers (screensavers) for more exposure.

We also talked about taking a pictures to create a school calender for the upcoming school year and making a brochure of our newly built student center.

I showed her my portfolio and she was already interested in couple of the pictures.

I am super excited and can't wait to get started. :D:D:D:D

I will make sure to do just that.

I do have one question though. During the interview she asked what file sharing service I used to email large files. Now, I am not subscribed to any file sharing service. I googled couple but do not know which one to go with. Any advice?

That is a tough one. I would hope that the university had an ftp site that you could use. A lot of people use Flickr. More advanced (pay site) would be http://www.squarespace.com/home/
