Grape Hyacinth

One of the first signs tha spring is nigh. Grape Hyacinths pop up in the yard. The plant is ~4" tall.

There was a slight breeze when taking these.

Yes, I know the plant, we have some in the front garden. They're not there yet but won't take long now, what with winter never having been in my area ...

Did you really lie down? Almost looks like it. I'm trying to visualise you lying there, flat on your tummy . I like the thought!

Completely prostrated. To top it off, we had a good rain yesterday so I had to break out the rubber suit.

Ahh, a lovely sign of spring. Wish we had such signs here, but snow is still covering the grass.

The purple colour really pops nicely against the sombre sky. Way to go, getting down on the soggy ground to get this good angle.
