Here's another one from my research field. Lots of Grasshopper Sparrows nested in the surrounding, fallow fields last Spring.

Nice shot, not often you get such an expression on a bird. You could start a caption contest with this one. My submission would be - "Oh my god, not another bird photographer - what does a fellow have to do to get some peace and quiet around here?" :mrgreen:
