I went to the national history museam the other day and was really taken aback at what a lovely building it is. I thought that, for a change, it would be nice to see the architecture close up. So here goes...

I really love all of these, but especially the 3rd one. I'm not sure if I would notice the different patterns as much if it wasn't in black and white. Very appealing.

Cruzin: we quite often get yellow stone work over here. However I took the photo at night and the yellow is accentuated by the floodlights - I didn't correct the WB because I liked the effect that came out.
