Great Horned Owls.....Babies have arrived

The babies have hatched......

There are two in the nest, but I only saw the top of the second head pop up. I will probably be shooting these guys about once or twice a week, as time allows, so everyone will get to see these guys grow up...

Unfortunately, I kinda had to blow out the white on the top of his head in order to get the detail in his face. Hopefully, as these guys darken up, I won't have to worry about this.

These guys are sooo difficult to find but to photo---wow, I'm impressed.
They will darken up. I would love to see you get some of the parents bringing food to these young'ns.

Oh wow, here they are! I am thrilled! I don't mind the bit of blown feathers AT ALL! I mean, to be able to photograph these baby owl AT ALL is ... great! Keep us informed, "FRANKY" (you will always be THAT in my mind, and not the complicated spelling-version of the same )
