The shot by abraxas of Death Valley dunes made me think of this shot. I have posted it here before (I think)......but it has been a few years since then and I'm sure there are many new photographers that would enjoy this. The last time I checked this site was a couple of years ago and it was like Death Valley! Hardly many posting photos and very few critiques. Glad to see it has been revamped and re-energized!

This shot was taken with my old Panasonic FZ5, so the shadow detail is not the greatest....but the I thought the scene itself looked surreal. I seem to recall using a warming filter too. Taken just before sunset.

Wow. That is cool! That's like the first shot I ever seen of that place that makes me want to go there.

Thanks very much. I might just have a couple more that may convince you as well.

Nice shot! Is the wind blowing through it?

    It's great, a bit abstract!

Thanks very much. The wind was indeed blowing....though not all that hard as I recall. It's so peaceful up there at that time of the evening.
