The shot by abraxas of Death Valley dunes made me think of this shot. I have posted it here before (I think)......but it has been a few years since then and I'm sure there are many new photographers that would enjoy this. The last time I checked this site was a couple of years ago and it was like Death Valley! Hardly many posting photos and very few critiques. Glad to see it has been revamped and re-energized!
This shot was taken with my old Panasonic FZ5, so the shadow detail is not the greatest....but the I thought the scene itself looked surreal. I seem to recall using a warming filter too. Taken just before sunset.
Focal Length: 14.5mm (35mm equivalent: 87mm...
Exposure Time: 0.0050 s (1/200)
Aperture: f/3.6
ISO Equiv.: 80
