Tried shooting through the telescope last night for the first time. Man it was HARD!!! I'd start with lining the moon up in the center of the field of view on the telescope and the get the camera positioned, which as I found out has to be perfectly aligned. By the time I'd get the cam in place, the moon had escaped. ARRRGH. Messed with it for about an hour, came up with almost 60 frames, and kept these 4. Thank God for digital. These are only very slightly cropped before resizing.

They all came out great! I really like the shadows in #2 & #3.

Hahah, the shadows were actually the edge of the eyepiece of the telescope, LOL!!! I guess I should photoshop them together and get a full moon.

I love these!! I tried shooting the moon with my 400mm and 2x teleconverter but got nothing near this hehe they fab!!
