More from USF BG. I'd like general comments or technical critique. Thanks! :sillysmi:

I can't believe that 11 hours went by and no one had anything to say about the absolute awesomeness of your second picture. So here it goes: your second picture is absolutely awesome.

Just for a change, could I offer general critique and technical comments?

    ;)

The first image really doesn't do a lot for me I'm afraid. I think it would work much better if it was a closer crop without the bright areas in the lower LH area and those on the RH edge. It may be Flickr, but this image appears really soft on my monitor.

The second image however. Well done! That is really nice. Is that natural lighting, or did you light that, and if so, how? The only comment I would make is that I think you could stand to crop the botttom area where you have the soft, folded edge showing.

Just my $00.02 worth - your milage may vary.

Thanks for the compliments! :D The more I look at #1 the less I like it. On #2, it's natural light... he was just chillin' on this big leaf that was exposed to direct sunlight and tall enough I could get under it. After I took this one I pulled the leaf down and tried to take some of him but they didn't come out right.

Well then, let that be a lesson -- "there is no beauty in nature like that which nature itself produces". :flower:
