Well, I'm a new guy here so I think I should take this opportunity to introduce myself. I've been into photography for 2 years or so. The first year I used a FujiFilm A330, it's not great but it was an ideal introduction to photography. I have never used a film camera other than the disposables when I was at school trips. I currently use a FujiFilm FinePix S7000 and have bought a few filters for it. I am currently into landscapes, macros, architecture and, more recently, I've been playing about with long shutter speeds and traffic. I won £50 a year ago with my A330 but have not won anything for my photos. I donated some photos to Children In Need and raised over £60 with them and am hoping to try making some money from my hobby. I balance photography with my schoolwork and other hobbies and I have dabbled in signature making in photoshop (see my signature to see my shoddy work!) I learn photography from books and magazines and trial and error. I feel I am limited by my current camera with its limited range of apetures and shutter speeds and the focus ring is pretty bad. Hopefully I will be getting an SLR camera in 2007 or early 2008 and I will have more control over my images. So enough about me now - here are my photos, some are very old and some are fairly new.

I need help finding out how to straighten the first image as it is squinty - any advice is welcome. I use CS2 if it helps.

Some of your pics have interesting points of view and composition, but you posted so many that it's hard to give any specific comments. You may want to post fewer pics per thread, keep them within a topic and number them, so people can refer to a pic directly.

BTW, that skull is cool. Is it real or some replica?

The teams are Edinburgh Monarchs - I'm from Scotland - but I'm not sure about the other team... I didn't take my camera to the Monarch Vs Tigers
The skulls are real I found them when I was out with my camera and I popped them in my camera bag.
The topic didn't take that long to post as I'd already posted it on another forum in July and kept adding to it. The only new part that I didn't have in my original post on another forum is the introduction.

"GreenSlime" (erm ... what a name! :shock: ), feel very welcome to ThePhotoForum, and could you PLEASE go back into your thread and add numbers to your photos so we can say "I like Photo so-and-so because..."? If your time to go and edit has run out I can do it for you.

From what I could see briefly, some have technical flaws, others have the whitebalance set wrong and are too blue, all in all they are nice, and once they have numbers, I will also tell you which ones I find particularly well done.
