Greeting from WA!

Hello all! I'm brand new to both this site and SLR photography. After many months for hinting, my husband bought me one for Christmas. I know a LITTLE about the basics, but I'm certain I will be asking tons and tons of questions.

Quick snippet of me:
-recently married (12/10/09)
-1 dog (a border collie mix named Trixie)
-2 cats (Poe and Chibi)
-just moved to WA from Jacksonville, FL, but originally from Northeast Pennsylvania
-love anything and everything to do with nature!

Thanks guys! I haven't the guts to post anything just yet, but soon! My dog makes a wonderful and patient subject The others, not so much hehehehehe. And Whidbey Island is a wonderful place to start this hobby. There is something breathtaking around every corner!!
