Just found this site via Google. The first thread I looked at was the "Picture of the Month thread".
That is an intimidating thread for a n00b. :stun:
Anyways, I've been using P&S cameras for the past couple of years and got tired of missed shots and washed out colors. I just made the leap to a DSLR and like just about every other beginner (or so it seems), I got a D40. So far I love it.
Now to learn how to use it....
I'm off to lurk in the threads for awhile.
