Greetings from Connecticut

Hello! I'm Andrew and I'm a college bound teen headed for University of Massachusetts. I have always loved photography and traveling but have never had the opportunity to use a SLR. I shoot all my pictures with a Kodak Z650 P&S and for the last couple months have really been experimenting with the manual settings. I'm in the market for a new camera but with college approaching I'm in no rush to get one, I'll just keep learning until I feel this camera hinders me.
