Hi all. I haven't posted any critiques lately, but I got this shot tonight, and thought I'd post it. I would like some critique both of its technical as well as aesthetic qualities. I still have some difficulty with lighting and maintaining a sharp focus, and I'm not quite sure about the crop. As the title suggests, the picture makes me think of the fragility of life and the inate trust that some creatures impose on us in the face of their compromised health/ability. If interested, I posted more pics of this here...

Here are the specs: Shot with a Sony Mavica cd500, focal length 9mm, f/4, 1/50, ISO 100, and I think it was w/o flash?
