These are all good. Really like #3 and the last one.
Amazing Vocal! all of them! my parents are moving to Bull River BC after christmas, those pics make me want to go out with them! howd you get the angle on #3? looks like you're in a helicopter.
Love the ones in/from the skylift! Especially #5.
Edit: I said Skylift.. I meant skil-lift.. but apparently it is neither.
Thanks guys (and gorgeous girl, lol)!
The shot looking down on the trees was taken from Grouse Mountain's amazing Skytram thing... you ride up the whole mountain in that thing, and it's totally awesome. The view is spectacular and it's a fun ride. I thought so anyway, my dad was gasping and clutching my sleeve.
Verbal, you're a star, thanks so much for posting those! I'm going to Vancouver in March with my gf to celebrate both our 21st birthdays (first trip outside Europe for me, and first flight on a plane ever for Tasha! ) so I'm totally on the lookout for photo opportunities and just general inspiration. Those are some superb shots (#5's my favourite :hail: ) - hopefully I'll come back with a laptop full of awesome pics too
Have you got any more Vancouver/BC shots to share? Good location recommendations? We're hopefully going to take a trip to Seattle while we're there as well.
aweet shots as always Verbal!
Great work. When we visited BC a few years ago that was the one place we did not get to that I really wanted to see.
Ooooo, I like the one that looks like you were flying! (Could my liking that one be colour-induced??????? I wonder. I really do..... )
And "Rudolph", of course, though with your black and white photo, some specific feature does not QUITE show so obviously. But I guess he asked you to keep him incognito... That is ok by me. I won't tell anyone you met him!
I posted some city shots of Vancouver over in the General Gallery, if ya wanna see 'em. And you are soooo gonna love Seattle! It just so happens that that is my favorite city! When you go, you must go down to Pike Place market and get some street shots, it's great down there.
Thanks, by the way!
