It's beautiful up there in the summer. I went there in June 07. Even at the height of the summer, you should still wear a light jacket at night. My friend was dumb and only had t-shirt and shorts. We went for a boat tour along the Pictured Rocks shoreline and the ride was 1.5 hours. He had his lesson.

There are a lot of waterfalls up there around the limestone formation, which is pretty surprising given that the rest of the state is completely flat.

I need to get up there this summer. I havent been to the UP in 10 years.( I have a brother that graduated from NMU in Marquette)
