    i was sitting on the river bank just below the lincoln memorial not long ago and thought this may work...not sure though as it still may be a bit dark and i may need to crop some off the top. the tire is for gull recreation. :meh:

    gull recreation??? they live at the beach, isnt that where we go to recreate???

    cool shot.. i like the darkness... think its really inventive, jon..

    hmmm, I don't think I would have noticed the tire unless you'd mentioned it. Maybe brighten the image just a bit more?

    I think it adds to the picture, plus I want to see just a little more in the foreground.

    I wouldn't crop any off the top; I love it! :)

    Got some good textures in the picture especially on the top where the waves have a good pattern. You sure know how to give a picture mood.

    Jon nice image, but you would have to be very selective in your brightening, as some of the areas in the centre are almost blown as it is. Ernie

    yep, i agree. i already lightened it some before posting and have been looking at what i can do. thanks a lot for the comment as always Ernie.
