Halloween Party

This one is obviously from a couple of months back, but I'm just getting around to posting again. This was taken at a Halloween party at a community center in Shreveport. The adults are playing musical chairs. It was taken w/ a D1, so please excuse the noise.

I forgot the technical data, so here it is: 1/250th f2.8 with a flash.

That looks like it was seriously underexposed at ISO 800-1600 and than pulled up in levels.

The D1 might be noisy, but it's not THAT noisy. It was underexposed and 'fixed'.

You caught me. It was underexposed and then had its levels brought up in photoshop. (though I think you may have underestimated to what extent, b/c i'm pretty sure that it was shot at 200 or 400 iso)

that is really noisy, I'll have to grab my DL and take a shot at 1600. I dont think it looks THAT noisy. maybe 3200

nah, it won't look THAT bad. but ISO 200, 400? yeah, I'll buy that. You can run it through neatimage and it might help a little.
