This is my first time posting in this thread, so hopefully I'll get this right! I took my camera out this morning once the sun was up to get some shots of the last of the autumn foliage.

A macro shot of a giant maple leaf, with an added satin layer to diffuse the color.

The morning sun, seen through the maple leaves and the distant cedars.

All these trunks belong to a giant maple tree in my backyard. It really is a monster.

A heavily photoshopped shot of the maple tree and its many colors. I love the paint daubs effect on this one...I don't get to use it often.

Another macro shot of a giant maple leaf. I love how this one is still in the process of turning colors, so its yellow and brown around the edges, but still green in the center.

#1 has too much noise in it for my personal taste
#2 no definitive subject, thusly not very interesting
#3 no definitive subject, thusly not very interesting
#4 no definitive subject, thusly not very interesting
#5 is the best, IMO, but could use some editing to make it really pop.
    Good job!
