has anyone shot night clubs and bar?

    I am having a hard time getting the ambient lighting in the back ground. i want something more like this...[​IMG]

    i been playing with the setting..but i want a picture that also show the back lighting ( the blue part on the picture ) also all my picture that i took showed only the subject but no background lighting. Any suggestion...i have not done much night life photography. so im trying to get some practice

    Email him for tips. He is the king of club photography.
