Hatteras Island Feathered Friend

I took this photo in a salt marsh near Hatteras Island, NC last May.
Is the shadow too distracting in your opinion?

I will have to say yes as well as the blown out whites. I do like the shot though

The shadow adds character:mrgreen: . Yes, it may be a bit distracting, but that's a nice shot.
