Red Shouldered Hawk taking a bath under tree at our office Pond.....
Wow! You are Mr. Right-Place-Right-Time. Great captures!
I like the first two - the first he is looking at his reflection and then in the second he is looking right at you!
Good series shots - just how do you managed to do any work with a pond attracting hawks like that ?
Very cool series. He (she?) really has a classic hawk expression in the first one.
the first one its seems like hes saying "ick this water is wet" very nicely done
Cool series. Perfect Timing...
Great timing! Great pictures, wish I could be that fortunate.
The second shot is great! Great timing indeed. Thanks for posting.
love the second one.
He has one of those "What are YOU looking at" expressions
Second shot is fantastic. Lucky break.
The colors are nice, and so is the symmetry, but the reflection looks really low poly. I don't know if that's the actual image quality or just some fancy illusion created by the ripples.
What lense/camera were you using?
Nikon D300 With a F2.8 300mm lens and a 1.7 teleconverter (515mm). Not sure what you mean by "low poly", excuse my ignorance.
