HDR imaging

i have a d90 and im looking for the proper setting to shoot hdr. i believe im looking for a ABE(?) setting but not finding it. ??????? please help if you know anything. never tried this before. but looks fun to play with.

you need to take a series of individual shots. make them 1 or 2 fstops apart.

use the shutter speed to change the exposure as you don't want to change the fstop and interfer with DOF.

You could also use the exposure compensation dial to take away or add exposure.

I would suggest using a tripod as you don't want to move while making the changes in exposure.

I find it easier to use manual metering and just change the exposures without taking the camera away from my eye.
