I go to WCU and there are alot of music/theater students. I thought it would be a good idea to charge for some headshots.

Any ideas on pricing? I thought like 50 for the initial fee with a few prints, and maybe 10-15 for the digital file.

    Any info would help

I think its a great idea. Charge what you think you can get. I don't know what experience you have but I normally ask for around $100 for a 1 1/2 - 2 hour portrait session plus a handfull of prints and a little bit of editing.

That sounds like a pretty reasonable price to me.

You might also want to go to some of the shows and then try to sell the live pics to the students.

Charging money in a situation like this is no fun. If you are inexperienced use the work to build your portfolio. You will find that the learning process is much more valuable then dumb ol' money.

its not for a portfolio, it's just for money...I will do a bunch for free to get some feedback before I start it up full force.
