I just got offered to do a friends wedding, I have been a backup for about 10 weddings, but mainly do portraits or engagements on my own. My question is what lens do you think I need to get for this job, my main camera is a 5d then I also own a 10d for back up and just a rebel. The lens I already have are Canon 28-135 is Canon 50 1.8 canon 28-105 4-5.6 Canon 55-200 4.5-5.6 and a Tamron 28-80 3.5-5.6

Just get whatever fast lens you can afford the focal-length depends on your own personal style.

    Welcome to the forum.

What lens did you use for the 10 weddings you did backup? I would think that you would want to use the same ones?

Your list doesn't have any fast zoom lenses...so if you want something new, that's what I'd recommend. The wedding work horse lenses (for film or full frame) are the 24-70 F2.8 L and the 70-200 F2.8 L IS.
