My name is Cordell and I am an alcoholic... #!@% wrong site.

I did get a Nikon D5000 last night, though. I've always used a compact camera I won at a company pick-nick and it was alright until I tried to get more out of my pictures and then the thing just didn't cut it. So, I bought the D5000 in hopes to learn and progress my skills and maybe consider myself a decent photographer one day. I love landscape shots, especially waterfalls, flowers (of all things), and mountains.
Other than that, I live in NW Georgia where I am a full time student (senior) in college.

Only one picture would come up. This is our dog- taken with the D5000, no editing (waiting for the funds to buy CS3).
