welcome to the forum....... you'll learn loads here, so you've come to the right place.

As for your pic..... the scene is very nice.... where abouts is this, local to you?.... its difficult to get a good exposure when you have a scene with alot of shadow and light contrast..... i.e. the widow light is blown out alot and a bit distracting..... but you should pick up a few pointers from this forum.

Two pieces of advice:

1. Shoot tons of pics and figure out what works and doesn't work for you.
2. Spend a lot of time on here, post a lot of photos for comments, and ask a lot of questions.
