Hi, I'm Barry, just another newb joining your board here. I signed up because I have mostly been in video production, but am trying to join the realm of photographers in my area, and see if its something I could do professionally(weddings and stuff) on the side. I do have a few questions. I am using a Digital Rebel with a Sigma 28-90 f3.5-5.6 lens and a Sigma 70-300 4-5.6 lens. I know that to get to a professional level I will need to replace the lenses and get faster lenses, but in your opinions is the Rebel's body good enough to make professional quality stuff? I know a lot of people in the newspapers around here(Dallas Morning News) use the D10, but many actually say they prefer the Rebel. Thanks for your inputs.

Welcome aboard Barry!
The picture quality differences between the 300D and the 10D should be minimal because they use the same sensor setup.
The 10D has a better build quality and some extra features but that's about it.
