I love taking photos. I first became interested back in the early 80's, when I acquired a Ricoh SLR and a few lenses. It wasn't too long before I was taking night shots with a tripod and cable release. I brought the film to a small lab and waited for my film. How exciting it was. I had quite a small library of photos.

Then tragedy struck. The photos were stolen from me. I was mad as hell and forgot about photography for awhile.

Fast forward to '04 when I managed to get my hands on a Nikon D50 and 18-70 lens which I still own. I've been taking photos on and off again but only recently have I become re-enamored with photography. The old excitement is returning. And no more waiting for film to develop, either (I know...). I kind of miss film.

So, I know what the search button looks like, but I plan on asking questions also. Hope I'm not too big of a pest. :mrgreen:
