Hey everyone!
I'm not great at introductions, but suffice to say that I'm happy to have found this forum of photo enthusiasts who can - hopefully - answer the myriad questions I have.
I'm on the downward side of my 20's and have been running around with a camera in my hands since....well, since I could run around. I started with disposable cameras in the 90's, figuring out what it is that I enjoyed shooting, and also what I was good at shooting. Over the last ten years, I've shot as an amateur, primarily using point and click cameras out of financial necessity and convenience, but always pushing the technical limitations, and always lamenting the lack of manual controls.
Right now, I'm in the delicate position between amateur and professional (prosumer?), and am dedicated to taking my work to the next level by starting my own studio.
I'll leave my questions for other categories, but that's me in a nutshell!
