Hi people, nice forum you have here. I've been taking pictures since I was a kid but I haven't done much for the last 20 years or so. Needless to say i have a lot of catching up to do.

I've been shooting with a little Kodak compact for the last couple of years. (My first digital camera). I'm buying a Canon D500 from Amazon today and should get it Tues or Wed. I can't wait.

Here's a couple of pics of my home town.

    Well I got my D500!
Still figuring it out but in the meantime I shot some pics over the weekend.

Still using it like a P&S for the most part. I'm liking the camera but I think I may have to upgrade the lens.
