Hello from the Finger Lakes: upstate New York

Clay here from Newfield. Always wanted to take up photography. Was exposed to it early on, as my dad loved it. He had an slr, but of course back then, I had no interest.

Now, my family live here in beautiful upstate NY, and the stunning outdoors mixed with digital SLR prices within my range now...I figured why not now?

I have been cramming as much info into my head as I can the past few months, before buying my camera. I think there's nothing worse than an uneducated newbie.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi!
