I am a new owner of a Nikon D60 with a Nikkor 18-135 zoom lens Yay!

I have always loved taking pictures, and now that I have a young son it makes me all the more motivated to learn more. I used to have a Canon Rebel film camera, and I loved it!! Then the digital age came and I stopped using it and went to a digital point and shoot....and I've never been happy with those pics.

So, now, finally I have a digital SLR and I have lots to learn!

Welcome to the forum! Lots of great advice can be found here. In just a couple of months, I've improved from a wretched photographer, to a really awful photographer, all thanks to TPF!!
