Hi There,
It's about time I came out of lurking
My Name is Ben, and I am a somewhat enthusiatic amateur landscape photographer at the bottom of the world - Tasmania, Australia.
I have been greatly influenced by the works of Peter Dombrovski and whenever I get a spare moment, I am out taking photos around my state. This doesn't happen as often as I would like, and I spend a lot of time daydreaming about being out in some alpine wilderness taking magnificent photos.
My primary gear is an EOS400D with the twin lens kit, with additional purchases of a 50mm f/1.8 & a 10-22 f/3.5. I still have my older Powershot G3 (that cost nearly as much as all the gear I have now when I got it new!), though I do not use it. Lots of accessories, I guess I have more money than sense
I came across this forum a while back, and was taken by surprise, as I didnt realise there was such an excellent community forum out there. I've spent some time looking through what people have had to say, and am taking on all this valuable advice.
So thats me really, and I hope to catch you around the forums.
Cheers
Ben
