I am so confused about this site and have no idea what i am doing!!! Why i want to get into using technology i have no idea!!! I shall plod on with it though I just got a Nikon D80 so any tips to get started would be fab

Hello! The two biggest pieces of advise I can give are.

1. Shoot, Shoot, and Shoot some more. You can buy gear, but you can't buy skill. Photography is practiced not bought.
2. Have fun. Enjoy it. Let photography take you places and see things you didn't know where out there.
