Hello,

I am Alex, I work for a smartphone brand called MEIZU.

As an avid smartphone user, I am taking more photos all the time and so I hope to learn a lot from the community here. I don't own an digital or manual camera though perhaps I will purchase either in the near future.

Hi Dean, thanks for the welcome. I guess I'm like many folks these days i.e we start taking photos on our phones and we discover photography that way. I do have an SLR at work and I'm learning how to use it but I'm still very much a beginner.
