New to this forum, so here goes.

I'm Tom Russell, from the UK (living in Reading). Just got into photography in a big way about 6 months ago.

My kit:

Canon EOS 300D
18-55mm EF-S lens (i hate this with a vengance, cheap plasticky construction and crap build quality, play everywhere in it).
Filters: UV, Circular Polariser. (58mm)
Sigma EX 70-200mm f/2.8 HSM (amazing lens.)
Filters: UV, Circular Polariser. (77mm)
2 batteries and a lowepro camera bag.

I prefer taking 'arty' photographs as opposed to documenting events. Some of the shots i've taken can be seen on my account at deviantART:
