This seems like a very cool place, talent level is amazing! I look forward to spending some time here. My first question is, how do I post photos? I found the gallery and clicked on the tab "post" but it said I lacked the privilege. Is their some super secret probation?
Oh yeah and why does my avatar photo look like that?

go to www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us or www.flickr.com, upload your photos and then link to them from your post, using the image button at the top, the one that looks like a mountain on a yellow background at the top of the post.

And I have no idea why your avatar is like it is...especially cuz I don't know how it's supposed to be in the first place.

Thanks! 25 karma points for you both! - 5 for Core's shameless sales pitch...JK. I tried the Flickr option and my avatar still looks crazy. My avatar is a regular jpeg yet it looks monochrome and pixilated.

Your avatar is a GIF, which is max 256 colors (that looks like 16). The other image is a JPG, which can do millions.

The jpegs work fine, but I can't the gif to load as an avatar. Still looks funky...HMMMMM.
