Hi all! I have been MIA, working my a$$ off, and I am so proud to say that I just purchased my dream home all by myself! I am in love with it. So ladies.....anything is possible! You don't need a man in your life to make your dreams come true, or to support you financially! You just need a man to compliment your life! :)
Anyways......
The house I purchase came with many bonuses. Good for me, but major learning curves all over the place! The people I purchased it from moved to Florida, and they left a lot of things in the home that I have no idea how to hook up or even what they are/do. This is one of them. I am curious to know if I should have someone come over and do this for me, or if it is easier than it looks. I might be missing a receiver too. I am not really sure. All the wiring got disconnected once the Direct TV box was taken. So nothing is hooked up. All I want is to watch movies, put in a dvd, and play music out by the pool. So, here is what I have.

image.jpgFront of unit (BOSE system Dvd model AV3-2-1 II media center DVD's/video) <copied that directly off the unit

image.jpgA white soft pad thingy.
image.jpgSpeakers outside on covered patio by pool. X2
image.jpgWhole unit as it sits now.
image.jpgFront of speaker system. (BOSE PS3-2-1 II powered speaker system) (BOSE acoustimass Module)
image.jpg image.jpg bunch of wires and crapimage.jpg Speakers mounted to walls on each side of TV. So x2
image.jpg Back side of speaker system. (BOSE PS3-2-1 II powered speaker system) (BOSE acoustimass Module) <typed that directly off of unit.

Thank you to anyone who can decode this. I can operate a camera, but this......foreign language!
My new house! It was everything I wanted and then some! F.Y.I It is highly alarmed, and I am highly armed. :)

lol.

it's a DVD player and stereo in one unit.

it was outdated the day it was released because it wasn't offered in Blu Ray well after DVDs were extinct. And doesn't have HDMI inputs/outputs.

can you picture what's coming off the TV itself?

house looks great.

Just buy a new Blu-Ray unit from Best Buy and pay them to come hook it up. If parts are needed, they will tell you.

Thank you. I am not really into Blu Ray. So I am not too concerned with that. I don't own one movie. I forgot to mention this is in my basement. Let me go grab a photo of the side of the TV. I never looked to see if anything was on it. I just want to hear music out by the pool, and to be able to use it to its maximum capabilities. This whole thing was just a bonus, so I am not complaining.

P.S. Why are you LOLing me! :) This stuff intimidates me! I can bring someone back to life, but I sure as hell can't decode all these different ports and crap! Meaneack!!!!! ;)

I bet you know how to use that pool ;)

That is a whole different ball game. I made the pool company that installed it come out here twice, because they kept giving me different information after I had been in the store 3 times. I am sooooo OCD, and am very hesitant to let anyone swim unless the chemicals are perfect. Anyways, needless to say.....it is now running perfectly, and the chemicals are spot on. It's a 15x30 pool, 12,500 gallons, so it is big. It is really facinating how much maintaining a pool, and my occupation, have in common. If you are my friend on FB, I wrote up a whole comparison about it.

Nice to see you on here - and the house is nice! Looks open and bright, love the window at the top of the landing, and the back yard made me go ooh! Enjoy the pool and this contraption when you get it hooked up. (It's beyond my capability, just wanted to see what you were up to these days! lol)

I don't own one movie.
You just need something to play CDs with 5-way sound. That won't be horribly expensive. Hire a 15-yr-old neighbor kid to hook it up for you.

It takes a while to learn everything. I've had a pool for about 30 years, so if you want to ask some questions, ask.

Congrat's on the house.

Congrats on the new crib! :)
Thank you! I have been looking for a while till this one caught me eye!

Thank you! I am sure other questions will pop up!

Thank you! I have yet to actually sit back and enjoy myself yet. Today might be that day that everything is unpacked and in its place.
It was a rough move!
