Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi Guys, this is my first post, awesome forum BTW.

I do occasional jobs as a photographer, but it is my main passion, and just bought a D7200 and i'm really happy with it. So, it turns out that I've got this unexpected call from a photographer friend, he switched to Leica, and gave me all his Nikon gear to sell, for the job I can keep one lens:

Nikon 12-24mm f/2.8
Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8
Nikon 24mm f/1.4
Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8

There are others but this 5 are THE lenses. I'm going crazy trying to decide since I'm really into landscape and nature photography. First I thought about choosing the most expensive one but the 70-200 is massive huge and I don't feel like carrying that around. I read incredible reviews on the 14-24mm but my DX won't take full advantage of it, although i've compared it to a 18-55mm and it's more wide.

So, i know it's tough, i'm not providing enough details, but i'm looking into cleaver advice on this epic one time only opportunity.

Thanks a lot!

I own:
Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3
Nikon 50mm f/1.8
Nikon 50mm f/1.2 (non-CPU)

Well the 17-55 is a designed standard lens for your kit so other than the 70-200 it's maybe the most useful choice. Regardless of the weight I'd still pick the 70-200 thougg

It it is the "new" VR-II 70-200/2.8, then definitely that one! If it is the Version 1 of that lens, maybe consider the 24-70/2.8. I would not consider the 17-55 just due to its low price. The 24mm f/1.4 is nice. There does not happen to be anything exotic though, like a 28mm f/1.4 does there??? Or no Noct-Nikkor? Nothing exotic and valuable right?

If you are not interested in the 70-200mm then I would recommend the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8

If you really dont want the 70-200(which I think you should choose) I would probably choose the 12-24 if you are into landscapes

I'd say the 17-55 2.8. Its a pretty good lens. Seems like it would be the most useful one to you!

I really like the 24mm f/1.4 as an option if you don't like the size of the 70-200 and you need a wider prime to go with your 50's.

Nothing exotic. But the 70-200 is VR-II, so i'm starting to reconsider my choice since you all recommended that. They are not going sell fast, so i'll probably have some time to experiment with them.

Thank you all.

Yeah take the 70-200mm f2.8 VR2 and sell it for yourself, thats the very obvious choice.

You can get probably two (used) lenses for the profit. And flash, filters, tripod, monopod, ...
