I happened on the interview of a Canadian journalist yesterday who sounds interesting but I didn't get her name or that of her book. Automatic station search :grumpy:

    Can you help?

From what I understood she is a TV journalist. She spend the last 10 years in Afghanistan where she chose to not be embedded. The interview was in French and she spoke it just fine so that she might be from Quebec. And that's all the info I have. Plus of course the fact that she's got a book that just/recently came out.

    Thanks.

Ok, never mind me. Tried another search and I think I found her. Anne Nivat and her book "Les brouillards de la guerre."

The name sounds familiar in context with Afghanistan...you're probably right.

Thanks and yes. From what I found later with the name, she is the one.

I'm having a hard time doing searches in french for some reason (language problem maybe?) and since I switched my computer to all french by upgrading the OS and the software, it's been worse.

    But she's the one.
