Help requested

I wasn't quite sure where to ask this question, but I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get back a photo from PhotoBucket so it will open on my computer thus allowing me to save it to a CD. A few weeks ago my computer crashed, taking along with it about a dozen photos I had not yet saved to a CD. I had uploaded about 6 of the shots to photo bucket. I think I posted some on here too. Besides printing them from the site, do I have any options? I tried the right click and 'save as' but the saved files don't open on my computer; I'm told the file contains an unrecognized jpeg marker. The photos were deleted from the camera right after I downloaded them to the computer, which was back in January. Anyone ever have this happen? Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the images back for my collection?

I can only assume your software is stuffed. If it is an unidentified JPEG marker than how is your web browser supposed to view it.
